While in operation in the cleaning lines roller brushes operate in heavy conditions and their working surfaces are under constant load which results in uneven wear – brush bristles wearing, dirt. For this reason periodic maintenance and regular preparation of brushes to work is required.

Preparation of brushes to work begins with brush trimming which is performed on the roller brush trimming machine. The machine is a lathe tool on which a special assembly unit KULLEN is mounted, enabling to have sharpening and uniform trimming of brush bristles.

The main purpose of the machine is trimming of the wire brush bristles to ensure a smooth work surface over the diameter of the brush.

After the trimming operation brushes go to roller brush degreasing machine.
